Fixing an Intake Leak
My favorite part of putting new parts on Jane is the part where I finish the work and then have to turn around and uninstall everything to fix something I haven’t even touched… wait 🤔ttttthat’s not my favorite part at all! Been having trouble tuning the new Holley and have traced some of the issues back to an intake leak. Wonder how long that’s been there 🙃
Checking Clearance
And now for my next redneck hat trick... Using Twizzlers as substitute Plastigauge to roughly check intake-to-head clearance 🤣🤣🤣 Hilariously, this actually worked... intake fits the heads properly with no large gaps at the bottom, so I will proceed with installing the new gasket and hopefully it'll be happy!
